Integrated communications leadership, function building & enterprise strategy
Built the company’s digital and communications function from the ground up, launching social media as a one-person operation and establishing the brand’s online presence, voice, and messaging across digital platforms. Developed the tone, language, and standards for how the company showed up online, while expanding scope to include website reviews, customer-generated content, and digital brand expression.
As the function matured, built and led a cross-functional team responsible for social media, website customer content (including reviews and photos), influencer strategy, brand ambassador programs, and content development for digital advertising and integrated campaigns. This work evolved into broader responsibility for public relations, executive messaging, crisis communications, and corporate communications.
Partnered closely with executive leadership, legal, and cross-functional teams to shape brand voice, leadership messaging, and organizational communications during moments of growth, visibility, and complexity. Created governance frameworks, messaging systems, and communication structures that supported consistency, trust, and alignment across the organization.
This role grew from channel leadership into enterprise communications leadership — focused on building systems, guiding strategy, supporting leadership visibility, and strengthening long-term brand trust and organizational clarity.
Healthcare communications, advocacy and member engagement
Led communications strategy for a statewide healthcare organization supporting rural and community hospitals. The work centered on advocacy, member engagement, and organizational alignment — managing newsletters, publications, executive communications, and stakeholder messaging that supported policy awareness and community impact.
This role strengthened my experience in mission-driven communications, stakeholder trust, and translating complex issues into clear, accessible messaging for diverse audiences.
Foundational digital communications leadership, education & strategy
Played a foundational role in the company’s early adoption of social media, helping establish how the organization entered the digital communication era. Built corporate and division-specific social profiles for the company, executives, and the publishing division, including platforms supporting company-authored best-selling books.
Created training materials, strategic guides, and educational resources, and led webinars to support organization-wide adoption. Partnered with executive leadership to define how social media would function as a business tool, not just a marketing channel.
Led education and strategy at company-hosted industry conferences attended by agents nationwide, teaching social media strategy, personal brand development, and business growth through digital platforms. Executives relied on my direction and expertise as the organization navigated early social media adoption, positioning the company as an agent-first leader in digital communication.
This work established the foundation for how Keller Williams approached social media, education, and digital communication at scale.
Directed marketing and communications for a leading youth development organization, elevating mission-driven storytelling and strengthening donor, community, and stakeholder relationships. Led annual reports, newsletters, and organizational publications, and partnered with executive leadership and program teams to communicate initiatives, outcomes, and organizational priorities.
Supported corporate and internal communications for the mutual funds business, including internal announcements, leadership communications, internal publications, and compliant messaging aligned with regulatory and brand standards.
